How does the Bank System work?
You can store gold safely in your bank account by visiting any bank NPC in the main cities. Say hi to the banker, then:
Commands:
- deposit [amount] or deposit all — store gold from your inventory
- withdraw [amount] — take gold from your bank
- balance — check how much gold you have stored
- transfer [amount] to [player] — send gold to another player
Bank NPCs by city: Eva (Thais), Lokur (Kazordoon), Rokyn (Kazordoon), Briasol (Ab'Dendriel), Ferks (Carlin), Tesha (Ankrahmun), Ebenizer (Edron), Tezila (Darashia), Suzy (Liberty Bay), Muzir (Port Hope).
Important: House and guild hall rent is paid automatically from your bank balance on each server restart. Make sure to keep enough gold deposited!
How do Houses and Guild Halls work?
Buying a House
Stand in front of the house door and type !buyhouse. The price is 1,000 gold per SQM (square meter). You can only own one house at a time.
Monthly Rent
Every house has a monthly rent of 10% of the buy price (100 gold per SQM). Rent is paid automatically from your bank balance on each server restart. If you don't have enough gold in the bank:
- You will receive a warning letter in the depot of the town where the house is located
- After 2 days without payment, you will be evicted
- All your house items will be moved to the depot of the town where the house is located
- The house becomes available for anyone to buy
Guild Halls
Guild halls work the same way but require you to be the guild leader of a fully founded guild (5+ members) to buy one.
House Commands:
- !buyhouse — buy the house you are facing
- !sellhouse [player] — sell your house to another player
- !leavehouse — abandon your house
Tip: Always keep enough gold in your bank account to cover the rent!

What happens when I die?
When you die, you lose a percentage of your experience, skills, and magic level. You may also lose equipment — each item in your inventory has a chance of dropping into your corpse.
Loss rates:
- Levels 1-24: 10% of experience, skills, and magic level.
- Level 25+: A dynamic formula based on your level (higher level = lower percentage, but more total loss).
Reductions:
- Promoted vocation: Reduces loss by 30%.
- Each blessing: Reduces loss by 8% (up to 5 blessings = 40%).
- With all 5 blessings + promotion: Up to 70% total reduction.
Warning: If your experience loss drops you below level 6, you will be demoted — sent back to Rookgaard at level 1 with no vocation, losing all items and progress.
What are Blessings and where do I get them?
Blessings reduce the penalty you suffer when dying. There are 5 blessings available, each reducing your death loss by 8%:
1. Spiritual Shielding
2. Embrace of Tibia
3. Fire of the Suns
4. Wisdom of Solitude
5. Spark of the Phoenix
All blessings can be purchased from any temple cleric in the main cities for 5,000 gold each (25,000 gold for all five).
Available in: Ab'Dendriel (Maealil), Ankrahmun (Rahkem), Carlin (Alia), Darashia (Kasmir), Edron (Amanda), Kazordoon (Isimov), Liberty Bay (Tyrias), Port Hope (Brewster), Svargrond (Kjesse), Thais (Quentin), Venore (Yberius).
Blessing loss on death:
- PvE death (killed by monster): You lose all blessings except Wisdom of Solitude.
- PvP death (killed by player): You only lose Wisdom of Solitude.
- If you don't have Wisdom of Solitude: All blessings are lost.
What is the Amulet of Loss?
The Amulet of Loss is a special necklace that prevents you from losing any equipment when you die. When equipped in your necklace slot, none of your items will drop into your corpse upon death — the amulet is consumed instead.
Important notes:
- The amulet has 1 charge and is destroyed on use.
- It does NOT reduce experience, skill, or magic level loss — only prevents item loss.
- It does NOT work if you have a Red Skull.
- Combine it with blessings for maximum death protection (blessings reduce exp/skill loss, amulet prevents item loss).
How do I buy items from NPCs?
You can trade with shop NPCs by saying trade to open the trade window. This window shows all items the NPC sells and buys, along with prices. You can purchase items individually or in bulk using the Buy with Backpack option, which fills a backpack with the selected item. Your available gold is displayed at the bottom of the window. Make sure you have enough capacity and gold before buying!
What is the Task System?
The Task System lets you earn experience and Task Points by hunting specific creatures. Talk to Grizzly Adams to accept tasks. Each task requires you to kill a set number of a specific creature (e.g. 300 Rotworms). Your kills are tracked automatically. Once you complete a task, you earn bonus experience and Task Points that you can spend in the Task Points Shop.
How do Task Ranks work?
You start as a Newcomer and rank up automatically as you complete tasks:
Newcomer — 0 tasks
Huntsman — 10 tasks
Big Game Hunter — 25 tasks
Taskmaster — 50 tasks (unlocks 2 active tasks)
Elite Hunter — 100 tasks
Higher ranks unlock harder tasks with better rewards. From Big Game Hunter rank onwards, you earn a 5%% bonus on task experience.
What are Task Points and the Task Points Shop?
Task Points are earned by completing tasks. The amount depends on the task tier — harder tasks give more points. You can spend your points at the Task Points Shop by talking to Grizzly Adams and saying rewards. The shop offers valuable items like equipment, potions, and more.
